Our favourite farmers' markets on Mallorca
Some markets on Mallorca are not just about shopping and strolling, they have a very special charm. And that's why they are our favourites.
- SINEU: Wednesdays are probably the most famous market on Mallorca. Then, in addition to locals, lots of tourists flock to the village in the centre of the island to stock up on goats, chickens and freshly tapped wine, or simply to marvel at what's on offer.
- ANDRATX: In Andratx, a large market also takes place on Wednesdays. It can be perfectly combined with a trip along the west coast. The imposing town hall with its Mediterranean garden is also worth seeing.
- SANTANYI: The classic for farmers´market fans takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the pretty village centre with its magnificent stone-fronted village houses. The highlight is the Saturday market, when in addition to the market stalls many galleries open their doors and you go home not only with fresh oranges and cheese, but also with a painting.
- S`ARRACO: Shop like the locals on Mallorca. The Saturday market in S'Arraco is small but fine, impressing above all with its location in the middle of the very well-kept village in the southwest of Mallorca. Be sure to have a coffee at the church and then take a spin to Sant Elm.
Take time to stroll on one of the wonderful farmers´markets and stock up like the locals. Are you still looking for the right property in Mallorca? We will be happy to find it for you.
