Son Vida Golf is the oldest golf course in Mallorca and thanks to its excellent maintenance and varied fairways also one of the most recommended places on the island. Opened in 1964 by Prince Rainer of Monaco, Son Vida has twice hosted the Open de Baleares. The 18 holes are embedded between luxurious villas, Mediterranean flora and fauna. The wooded course with stunning views of Palma is short, playable on foot and suitable for every level. 78 bunkers, 4 lakes, fast greens and 90 years of golf history await the player.

2. Golf de Andratx: The Celebrity Golf Course
Opened in 2000, Golf de Andratx is one of the favorite places of stars like Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Claudia Schiffer, but also attracts professional players who are looking for the challenge on 18 hilly fairways. The course is considered one of the most difficult golf courses in Mallorca and underlines this with hole 6, the "Green Monster", which comes from the champions tee at 609 meters, making it the longest fairway in Spain.
Several lakes, bunkers and old typical Mallorcan trees dominate the architecture of the course.

3. Golf Son Gual: One of the best golf courses in Europe
Thomas Himmel, three-time German amateur champion, was engaged by the owner family with the design the golf course which today is not only one of the best in Mallorca but in Europe.
The magazine Golf World titled Son Gual 2011 among the top 100 in Europe and numerous professional players like Ian Woosnam, Sam Torrance and Mark James confirm the placement.
Golf Son Gual is characterized by a rich flora and fauna with 800 ancient olive trees, several lakes and numerous aquatic animals. 30 greenkeepers ensure that the course is in excellent condition all year round and is a popular venue for well-known European tournaments.

4. Club de Golf Alcanada: The Porsche golf course
This course got it´s nickname not because of its extraordinary conditions but of its owners which belong to the Porsche family.
Golf Alcanada is located in the middle of a nature reserve in the north of Mallorca and is characterized by long fairways, missing water hazards and above all a breathtaking sea view from almost all tee-offs. It´s the deep blue of the Bay of Alcudia, the challenging fairways separated by typical olive and pine trees and super fast greens which make this course a must-play on the island.

5. T Golf & Country Club: The high-tech course
Not far from the tourist urbanisation Magaluf you find the popular T Golf & Country Club. The spacious and well-maintained golf course was rebuilt, modernized and equipped with the latest technology in 2015 by its new owner, the German Heiner Tamsen. Features like LED lights in the roughs and buggies with GPS system are just two elements that make this golf course one of the most exclusive on the island.
